I don't suppport otley, I'm a Yorkshireman who is interested in the last week in your division. The Moseley Message board seems to have a well informed thread, that only 1 of their current players has signed up for next season and there are numerous among them who will be playing their last game at Waterloo on Saturday. Maybe Bill Sley can comment here? Interested to know what the party line is from Birmingham.

As a club, we don't comment on this rumour and speculation. The players and management are fully focused on a rather important match at Waterloo this Saturday!"

Posts: 0 (04/24/07 23:57:42) More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	All we know so far is that Paul Knight will be returning to Bees (to be 3rd choice SH?), winger James Aston (not the same player after a bad knee injury) will be following him, and centre Nick Buckley is joining the Pirates. Neil Mason has signed a 2-year deal regardless of status next season. Anything else is rumour and innuendo.

Invariably there will be a number of players who will be in discussion regarding new contracts and no indication of their potential future should be given until that is concluded. This was the case last season and it was then announced an the end that the majority of the squad had re-signed. It's only to be expected after a season in Div 1 that a number of players have attracted interest from other teams. There will be undoubtedly some players Moseley's coaching staff have seen this season and would be pursuing. There seems to be some people who are keen to create a panic for Moseley for some strange reason. ( Can't think from where ) As far as I can see as a West Midlands rugby employer Moseley do not seem to be too bad as they pay the guys on time and do not try to cut their wages, with a real potential to develop further. So hopefully many players will want to stay I don't think there is a feeling at the club that we have any worries over major departures. The focus is on ensuring we win next Saturday and remain in Div 1

Saturday will be a good day I am sure. For those coming up/down there is a Irish Band to entertain and a Hog Roast followed by evening entertainment all welcome I am sure. The weather is set fair so let the best team win.

I'm not rumour-mongering or starting false gossip re information on the other players that I don't know. To best of my knowledge, I'm answering the original question from White Rose. There already appears to be a lot of movement between National 1 teams - Leeds, Rotherham, Exeter, Pirates, Coventry...so there is no reason why Moseley should be any different is there.

Hayes - not staying - or will be a new backs coach Thomas - not staying - will have a rude awakening if he ever leaves the doughting support at Mose, has a tendancy to make game loosing howlers but the rest of the time has a good boot. Always 2 sides to a coin and I can talk just as much rubbish as most Bees supporters !!
