The Yorkshire Post suggests Clive Griffiths won his final game in charge of Doncaster, by winning the Yorkshire Cup against Wharfdale.
It appears to be a done deal he's off to Worcester. |

The paper mentions there will have to be compensation paid to Donny.
Rumour was that Peiter Muller was on over 75 a year, so you imagine CG would be on more. |

If CG leaves, how many coaches will Donny have gone through in the last few seasons? Muller, Eves readily spring to mind but I am sure there were more recently. Is that a sign of something wrong behind the scenes?

The word from the man himself on Wednesday night (after lifting the tin pot) was that he had not made a decision at that time and had a great deal to consider.

Who says Griffiths is leaving Donny? Its gone cold in the Press since Duckworth found out Griffiths was still under contract.

IF CG goes I don't think it really says anything about things going on behind the scenes at Donny - he has been offered the chance of a contract with a premiership team working for somebody he has proven success with.
Same as when most Nat 1 players are offered Prem contracts they take them (just ask the Plymouth Fans and Bristol Fans!) |
